Are you an avid runner? And do you also do that abroad when you are on vacation? Do you sometimes compare yourself with runners from that country and do you notice that there are differences? Maybe you run in the country with the fittest runners? But yes… which country is that?
Reebok was curious and researched where in the world the fittest runners live. It looked at the number of gyms in the country per ten square meters in the most populous city, the number of marathons run per million inhabitants, the number of Olympic medals won in athletics and the endurance sports per country.

And guess what:Switzerland is the country with the fittest runners! This is mainly due to the two lowest times in terms of marathon running and in Zurich there are many gyms per square meter at the time.
But our own country is also doing well with a nice fifth place! Portugal, France and Ireland finished in second, third and fourth place respectively.
