This summer, the Red Cross is launching its Caravan to learn how to save lives

First aid gestures are sometimes so quickly forgotten... To fill this gap and remind people of these famous gestures that can save lives, the Red Cross will launch its Caravan operation through 9 French cities from July 30 to August 18. This is the 15th edition of this summer caravan which criss-crosses the country:Bordeaux, La Ciotat, Metz, Dinard, Illkirch, Savigny-le-Temple, Roquebrun, La Salvetat-sur-Agout and Cessenon-sur-Orb will receive the visit from the Red Cross. The interventions will be accessible to all, and even to children from 10 years old. On the program, several "animations" that will last between 30 minutes and two hours. Three initiations will be offered:the "Alert, massage, defibrillate" initiation (40 min), the initiation to Risk Reduction (40 min), as well as a new one, the initiation to first aid and life-saving behaviors ( 2 hours). The Red Cross has thought of everything, it has also planned a special initiation reserved for children under 10 years old, wishing to learn about first aid gestures (30 min).

Residents as well as people living around the targeted cities and vacationers can go to these meetings to learn how to properly handle a defibrillator or review life-saving gestures.
