Sports with a hangover

Did you drink too many drinks yesterday? Your plan to exercise doesn't have to fall through the cracks, but there are a few things to keep in mind.

1. Opt for a light workout
Exercise isn't a panacea for a hangover, but it can help. However, opt for a light workout. A heavy workout can actually make the symptoms worse.

2. Drink enough water
Alcohol removes moisture from your body. It is important that you drink enough. Especially if you are going to exercise. So be sure to bring a filled water bottle. You can also fill it with coconut water. The electrolytes make it a good sports drink.

3. Eat a light breakfast beforehand
A greasy bite may seem appealing, but an easily digestible breakfast is a wiser choice for your body. Add a banana. Bananas are rich in potassium, a substance that is said to fight the symptoms of a hangover.
