I have cold feet all the time

What is it due to? Cause #1:poor blood circulation. But stress can also promote a drop in temperature in the small vessels of the toes. Ditto if you smoke or if you do not do enough sport. Bad plan? Tight socks and shoes, like knee-highs that make marks.

Anti-cold stuff. Hop, to the Scottish shower! From the thighs to the feet:a jet of hot water and then a jet of cold water for 3 minutes, to boost circulation. Afterwards, we wipe our feet thoroughly (even between the toes) before putting on our socks, because the humidity promotes the feeling of cold. You can also rub your feet morning and evening with essential oils. The most suitable? Lavender, witch hazel, cypress, lemon and sweet almond:a few drops (no more than ten) in the palm of the hand, and we massage.

Hot shopping. We treat ourselves to competition socks with bioceramic fibres, which massage the feet and produce infrared to warm our frozen toes (ex. Cerasock, on sale at www.vivre-mieux.com). We rub with the Kiné care oil + 7 cold feet and hands stimulation from Phytosun Aroms (about 12€, in pharmacies).

And if it persists? We consult a podiatrist:he can prescribe custom-made insoles (plantar orthotics) which, by massaging the internal arch of the foot, warm it up.
