The health benefits of rosemary

Rosemary is a shrub that grows mainly in the south and whose leaves look like thorns, very popular in the kitchen. Indeed, as soon as they are rubbed, they give off a powerful odor perfuming everything in their path. But it is also a seasoning with exceptional health benefits.

1 – It contains vitamin C, minerals (iron, calcium, copper and magnesium), and polyphenols. To take advantage of all its benefits, replace your morning coffee with an infusion of rosemary (yes, you get used to it), or drink a cup a day, it should become a habit.

2 – It is hyper-antioxidant since, dried, its ORAC is… 165,280! To use it in cooking, we note that it goes particularly well with red and white meats, and with tuna! And it is not afraid of cooking, so we add it at the beginning of cooking so that it flavors well.

3 – It is a tonic-stimulant for body and mind. It is also very useful in case of convalescence and in states of weakness, such as the flu, bronchitis, painful periods.

4 – It promotes the elimination of gases and facilitates digestion.
