Fit Moms, the new worrying phenomenon

Fitness is cool, it's trendy and it gives us a nice figure. But at what cost ? This is the question we ask ourselves when we see pregnant American “fit girls”. And the “Fit moms” phenomenon is gaining momentum on social networks:we find women several months pregnant with a much less round belly than the average or other post-pregnancy who find their line in just one week. ! What matters more:the baby to come or their figure?

If this kind of fashion can motivate some (who are freaking out about gaining a lot of weight during pregnancy), we find it especially super complex for the majority of future mothers... Why be afraid of a belly that rounds when we know that baby is developing normally? And it's not the sports practice of fit moms that worries doctors the most:the fact that they gain very little weight during the 9 months of pregnancy could be bad for the baby's health.

If some women use the "No Excuse" (no excuse) to justify that they recover quickly after childbirth, we keep in mind that this is not an obligation for all future and new mothers. And that if we want to stay in shape for the 9 months, we can talk to our general practitioner and find out about adapted sports programs, without becoming addicted to sport.
