Eating pasta regularly will make you lose weight

A pasta diet for three months

To carry out their project, the scientists asked more than 2000 people to consume only pasta as a source of carbohydrates for three months. Results ? By eating three half cups of pasta per week, all participants lost about 500 grams. So yes, the loss is minimal but it is still a loss, which is explained by the fact that pasta is carbohydrates that have a low glycemic index. Thus, they do not increase blood sugar levels significantly.

However, for this technique to work, you have to be sure to integrate the pasta into a balanced diet and avoid accompanying your dish with cheese or a fatty carbonara-type sauce... So for all those who want to lose a little weight before summer, good news, no need to ban pasta!
