These 5 foods help with muscle pain

While muscle soreness is a sign that you've done a good job, it may not feel like it the day after. With muscle pain you want to speed up muscle recovery as quickly as possible and these 5 foods can help with this.

1. Coconut water

Hydrating well during and after your workout is super important, but it doesn't have to be with water alone. This drink is rich in magnesium and potassium and exactly those two things speed up muscle recovery.

2. Chia seed

Chia seeds contain omega-3 which has an anti-inflammatory effect. By adding chia seeds to your shake or smoothie bowl you are assured of less muscle pain!

3. Nuts

Another product that is full of omega-3! Sprinkle the nuts over your pre-workout meal or put a bag in your sports bag.
