5 exercises you can do to improve your balance

Do you find it difficult to keep your balance? You can improve your balance by exercising. You simply do these exercises in between everyday activities.

1. While walking

Are you walking on a quiet street? Try to walk on the curb instead of the curb.

2. If you drop something

Pick up what you dropped while lifting your back leg slightly off the floor. As you get better, you can lift your leg a little higher.

3. On the train

Sometimes you have to stand on the train. That's a good one to improve your balance. Place your feet slightly apart and bend your knees slightly. Try to keep your balance. Just make sure you can grab something if you lose your balance. Preferably no fellow traveler.

4. While brushing your teeth

Brush your teeth while standing on one leg.

5. While exercising

Many sports are good for training your balance. Sign up for a yoga or Pilates class. If you do that regularly, your balance will improve.

Your balance changes every day. Don't be fooled if a day goes a little less well.
