We can again enjoy lunch and dinner outside the door. Party! Do you still feel a bit full after an evening of culinary delights? Then do this yoga pose to give yourself relief.

Stimulate bowels

It is known that bending forward can stimulate the intestines and that it is good for your digestion. So grab a bolster (a long, cylindrical pillow) after a heavy meal and get to work to make that heavy feeling in your stomach disappear.

How do you do it?

  • If you have a bolster that's a plus, but you can also use a rolled-up towel or pillow instead. The firmer the pillow, the better you can massage your stomach.
  • Sit on the floor with your legs straight and place the bolster between your stomach and your thighs.
  • Flex your feet.
  • Bend your upper body over the pillow and take a deep breath through your abdomen.
  • Keep breathing deeply until you feel relief in your stomach.
