Slimming special:Our good sports plans, the 2015 running show

The Running expo changes its name but not its concept! The running show is still the largest French gathering of runners of all levels and even future runners. This is an opportunity to get into running thanks to the show which brings together all the running specialists.

A space exclusively dedicated to runners!

On the sport side, we go to the coaching sessions of the famous marathon runner Carmen Oliveras to start running or to get advice on how to progress.

And to get the look during our jogging, we attend the fashion shows of the biggest running brands (Nike, Adidas, New Balance, Asics) and we benefit from free fashion coaching with the Run Chic brand. And to be perfect on the starting blocks to the tips of your nails, we go to the Nail Truck to get an addicted runner manicure!

We pamper ourselves in the wellness area!

After all these heated discussions on THE pair of running shoes made for us or on the personalized training program we put together with Carmen, we definitely need a little pick-me-up. And precisely, Herbalist offers free discovery of its entire range of teas at the tea bar in the lounge. Then we take advantage of an aromatherapy course… and its implementation, massage at the key. The dream.

From the corner of the eye, we notice stands offering an osteopathy consultation for an introductory session. And for runners angry with their sneakers, free podiatry consultations to check their support, their stride, and if they need orthopedic corrections.

We move, supervised by professionals!

Last but not least, the running lounge organizes training sessions throughout the event.

Friday, we register for the samba-cardio session at 12:30 p.m. to perfect our swing. At 6 p.m., meet with Christophe Ruelle to test his new ChrisRuelFit program, a mix of cardio training and muscle strengthening to work the whole body. At 7 p.m., head to the Yoga in the City event, which takes place in the living room for a one-hour session in a joyful but studious atmosphere.

On Saturday, we play athletes with track training at 4:30 p.m. at Susan Lenglen Stadium before finishing with a stretching and relaxation session at 6 p.m.

All these activities are free but require pre-registration via the Zippyguide site.

And if at the end of all these adventures you have to talk to me, I'll be at the Pasta Party, plate in hand, to recover from my emotions.

See you at the Salon du Running Porte de Versailles – Parc des expositions from April 9 to 11
