To start the new school year well, sleep 7 hours tonight. Really.

Because we have a lot of work, we're "mom", we're a big party girl (or even all 3 at the same time for the intrepid!), our sleep hours seem to be getting shorter and shorter (without count that we also sometimes have trouble sleeping…). And by the way, we forget the number of hours we really need to recover from all that!

The American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the American Society for Sleep Research have just reached a consensus on the matter. By pooling their work, they realized that for adults aged 18 to 60, the magic hour is 7 hours of sleep. "Less is not enough for adult health and safety," warns Dr. Nathaniel F. Watson of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, adding that it also takes healthy living, with a good diet and sport.

Yes, well, it still depends on the quality of sleep and not everyone has the same needs either! Fortunately, there are tips for sleeping better and ESPECIALLY freeing up more time to sleep and rest. Zzzzz….
