Well-being:write 5 minutes every day to be better in your life

Becoming aware of what is positive in our life is the objective of the 5-minute exercise proposed by Nela Canovic at Huffington Post UK . Inspired by positive affirmation, it would aim to improve our day and increase our self-confidence gauge. To do this, we would have to answer 5 questions daily about our expectations, our abilities, our situation... So, in short, how do we do it?

Practicing positive affirmation

To focus on positive things and be more sure of ourselves on a daily basis, we submit (in writing) to these 5 questions, 3 at sunrise and 2 at bedtime.

In the morning:we start by listing the things for which we are grateful, for example “I have a loving family” or “I live in a beautiful city”. Then, we imagine what would make our day really special (with realistic ideas… we forget the idea of ​​the seat in transport, it will not happen!). Finally, we write an affirmation about ourselves or those around us (preferably different each day) such as "I know that I am strong" or "I have friends in whom I can confide". … It is thanks to this step that you become aware of your qualities and that you leave your home with a smile!

In the evening:To go to bed peaceful and happy, we quickly describe 3 positive things that we have seen/experienced or done during the day example “I proposed an innovative idea to my boss”. Finally, we take a step back on ourselves by evoking something that we could have done better in order to improve our future days!

The idea is to keep the exercises in a notebook that you can consult to see your progress (and then use them as other positive affirmations!).
