1. Broken Candle Pose (Viparita Karani)

Sit facing a wall, with your buttocks about six inches from the wall. Then lie on your back and stretch your legs up against the wall. If this feels uncomfortable, slide a little away from the wall. If it doesn't stretch enough, slide closer to the wall. Relax your arms by your side and breathe in and out slowly, feeling the stretch in the back of your legs. Stay in this pose for two minutes.

2. Happy baby pose (Ananda balanceana)

Lie on your back. Inhale deeply and as you exhale, bring your knees toward your chest. Inhale again and grab the outsides of your feet. In one smooth motion, bend your knees out towards your armpits. Rock back and forth gently. Release your feet as you lower them. Lie back and relax for a while.

3. Reclining Butterfly (Supta Baddha Konasana)

Place a rolled blanket lengthwise behind you. Sit with bent knees. Bring your feet as close to your pelvis as possible, place the soles of your feet together and let your knees drop out. On an exhale, lean back and lie down using your elbows. Relax your groin and lower your knees down as far as possible. Tilt your pelvis to keep your lower back long. Lie in this position for three minutes, relaxing more and more and focusing on your breathing.
