Ingredients to make Cyril Lignac's yogurt cake:

  • 1 cup of creamy yogurt
  • 1 pot of caster sugar yogurt
  • 3 jars of flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 jar peanut or sunflower oil
  • 1 half lemon

Stages of preparing Cyril Lignac's yogurt cake

  1. Preheat the oven to 180° (thermostat 6). Take two or three zests from the rind of the lemon and chop them very finely.
  2. Mix the yogurt and eggs in a bowl. Use the yogurt pot as a guide and add the caster sugar to the preparation. Mix well then add the yeast, flour, vanilla sugar and zest. Once the consistency is smooth enough, add the oil and mix well.
  3. Transfer the dough into a mold that you have previously buttered and floured. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Unmold and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Tip: You can replace the lemon with any other citrus fruit such as orange or grapefruit.
